PATTERN INFORMATION

Make a REAL hat that is firm like a felt hat. The hat is worked in one piece, from the brim to the top. The hat is extra large after knitting because it will take a trip through the washing machine to be felted, a process that causes the knitting to shrink and become as dense as a thick piece of felt.

Choose from the many lovely colors available in Friends Wool, and feel free to decorate it with ribbons, a bow, or a sea of flowers.
