ABOUT THE PATTERN

The cardigan is worked with 2 strands of yarn: 1 strand of Dream Color and 1 strand of Friends Kid Silk. The beautiful play of colors in Dream Color makes the cardigan fun to knit and gives each cardigan a unique look.

The cardigan requires a minimum of seaming. It is worked top down. First, the neckline is worked. From here the two shoulders are worked. Stitches are picked up and knitted along the two shoulders. First, the back piece is worked until the bottom of the armhole. Then, the two front piece are worked. All three pieces are then joined, and the body is worked back and forth with a ribbing at the bottom. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and knitted along the armholes. The sleeves are worked top down and finished with ribbing. The last step is to pick up and knit stitches along the two front edgings. The left edging is worked without buttonholes, and the right edging is worked with buttonholes.
