Alva Silk

Alva Silk is an exquisite carded wool made from pure, natural fibers, giving your projects a stunning, authentic look.

This yarn is made from 50% merino wool, 25% silk, and 25% cotton, making it light and warm. The special structure with small silk flecks gives the yarn character and adds an interesting texture to your finished project. Since this is a carded yarn, you also get a full but light material that feels nice and soft against the skin, thanks to the lovely fiber blend.

Alva Silk’s color palette ranges from classic colors to saturated shades with incredible depth. The tiny silk flecks absorb color in their own, unique way, adding depth and a natural sheen to each color.

With a total length of 230 meters, this yarn is the perfect choice for delicate lace patterns or simple textures. The wool, silk, and cotton blend makes it a year-round yarn perfect for all kinds of projects from light summer tops and cardigans to soft accessories, scarves, and shawls.

Feel free to hold several strands together with larger needles if you want your project to keep you nice and toasty in the colder seasons or if you want to finish your project quickly.​

To best care for the natural fibers and keep the fun texture, we recommend washing the finished projects by hand.
